The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County (DOH-Volusia) provides a variety of quality health care and support services via our team of dedicated doctors, nurses, and clerical workers. While we no longer offers primary care services, we do offer family planning services, immunizations, travel immunizations, STD testing and treatment, and the Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program.

Services are provided on a sliding fee scale that is based on Federal Poverty Guidelines. To determine eligibility, please bring the following items to your appointment:

  • Proof of Income

Baby Steps Daytona

Baby Steps Daytona provides comprehensive checkups, emotional support, childbirth education, breastfeeding support, and postpartum recovery to pregnant and postpartum moms who have no insurance or are underinsured at our Keech Street location. No one will be turned away.

Baby Steps Daytona also offers:

  • Weekly mental health and substance use support
  • Help navigating food, housing, transportation and legal needs
  • A safe, welcoming space through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum

Volusia Free Clinic

The Volusia Volunteers in Medicine provide free medical care and limited dental care by appointment only at our New Smyrna Beach location.

Patients must be ages 18-63, have a permanent Volusia County address, have no insurance including Medicare, and live at or below 200 percent of the poverty line.
