Florida Department of Health in Volusia Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory for Daytona Beach Shores, Wilbur-By-the-Sea

Volusia County, FL – The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County (DOH Volusia) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels at the following location:
The Dunlawton Avenue Beach Vehicle Ramp
Daytona Beach Shores, FL
and
Toronita Avenue Beach Park
4200 S. Atlantic Avenue
Wilbur-By-The-Sea, FL
Tests completed on Feb. 23, 2026, indicate that the water quality at the Dunlawton Avenue Beach Vehicle Ramp and Totonita Avenue Beach Park shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
