Florida Department of Health in Volusia County Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory
Silver Beach tests below unsafe level

Daytona Beach, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County (DOH-Volusia) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels the following location:

Silver Beach
Near Silver Beach Ave. beach access
Daytona Beach, FL, 32118

Tests completed on October 3, 2025, indicate that the water quality at Silver Beach shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines.
