Florida Health Provides Free or Low-Cost Breast Cancer Screenings

Daytona Beach, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health will host the 3D mobile mammography bus, Mammolink, to provide free or low-cost mammograms to women in the community from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 19, at the Florida Department of Health located at 1845 Holsonback Dr., Daytona Beach.

To be eligible for a free mammogram screening, you must meet each of the four below criteria:

  1. Be a women age 40-64.
  2. Have a household income, less than or equal to 200% of the poverty level.
  3. Have no health insurance to cover the cost of a clinical breast exam, mammogram, or Pap smear.
  4. Have primary residency in Florida

Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program

The Florida Department of Health provides access to free or low-cost breast cancer screenings statewide to women who are uninsured or underinsured, have a low income, and meet the program eligibility requirements.
