Mobile Home Parks, RV Parks and Campgrounds

Florida Department of Health in Volusia County Environmental Health

The objective of this program is to minimize the risk of injury and illness in this residential environment. The objective is accomplished through routine inspections of these parks and camps ensuring the residents' risks for disease from an environmental origin are minimized.

Mobile homes, lodging and recreational vehicle parks, and recreational camps are licensed annually  from October 1 to September 30 of every year, by the Volusia County Health Department, in accordance with Chapter 513, Florida Statutes and Chapter 64E-15, Florida Administrative Code.
