Ready, Set, Breastfeed

Interested in the basics of breastfeeding? The no-cost WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program provides:

  • breastfeeding support for WIC mothers

  • paraprofessionals to help mothers achieve their breastfeeding goal

  • classes and resources

Class Schedule - Due to COVID-19, no classes are being held until further notice.

Join us for classes at the Florida Department of Health in Volusia County. Each class is a one-time session. Partners are welcome. Classes are offered: 

Daytona Beach
1845 Holsonback Drive
10 to 11 a.m. on the second Tuesday
6 to 8 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month

New Smyrna Beach
717 West Canal Street
6 to 8 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month

Orange City
775 Harley Strickland Blvd
6 to 8 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month

Reservations are suggested but not required. To register, please fill out and submit the form at the bottom of this page.
