Volusia County Medical Reserve Corps offers new volunteer orientation

DAYTONA BEACH – The Volusia County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national volunteer program dedicated to preparing individuals to respond to large scale medical or public health emergencies. The MRC of Volusia County is currently seeking volunteers for disaster response. All volunteers are thoroughly trained.

Volusia County MRC volunteers can support local public health efforts, assist local hospitals and health departments with surge personnel needs, participate in mass prophylaxis and vaccination exercises and other community disaster drills, and train with local emergency response partners. The MRC includes both medical and non-medical volunteers.
