News Release: DOH-VOLUSIA EXPANDS COVID-19 TESTING CAPACITY

Orange City, Fla. — In response to the increase in testing demand, The Department of Health in Volusia County has expanded COVID-19 testing to the Orange City location, 775 Harley Strickland Blvd., Suite 110. PCR testing is now available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment only for symptomatic individuals and those who have been exposed to COVID-19. This includes students seeking testing and clearance to return to school. 

Testing continues to be available Monday through Friday at the Daytona Beach location, 1845 Holsonback Drive. The County of Volusia and the Health Department continue to work together to explore additional testing opportunities. 

The Health Department continues to offer COVID-19 vaccines at all four office locations. This includes third doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines for moderately to severely immunocompromised residents. County Health Department locations are as follows: 

  • 421 S. Keech St., Daytona Beach
  • 1845 Holsonback Drive, Daytona Beach
  • 717 W. Canal St., New Smyrna Beach
  • 775 Harley Strickland Blvd., Orange City
