DOH-Volusia - Swim Advisory Lifted for two Beach Areas; Main Street Remains Under Advisory

Daytona Beach - The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County has lifted a swim advisory for the International Speedway Boulevard and Silver Beach areas of the beach in Daytona Beach. However, an advisory remains in effect for the Main Street area of the beach.
The initial advisory was issued Thursday as a result of recent water sampling as part of the Healthy Beaches Program Additional ocean water samples were taken Friday. The analysis received today shows the water has returned to acceptable levels at International Speedway Boulevard and Silver Beach.
A sample will be taken at the Main Street area Sunday.
