As the director of Clinical Nutrition and Lactation Services at Children's Hospital of Orange County in California, Ms. Steele offers practical clinical information and motivational techniques for encouraging breastfeeding.

In this webcast, she discusses how to initiate conversations about breastfeeding with patients - when these conversations should take place, how to assess patients for their likelihood to adopt breastfeeding, barriers to breastfeeding, and helping patients making good choices about formula if they are unable or unwilling to breastfeed.
